Lawhon’s research is based on the brain and how it takes in and recalls information. She founded her assessment process on the platform of Howard Gardner’s theory of multiple intelligences, but picks up where he left off: knowing what to do once you realize how each person is uniquely intelligent. She has personally assessed a multitude of students across the US, and has followed up to ensure their strengths assessment results continue to work for them in academics, and in life. Lawhon is also a published author (Guru-YOU! Remove Your Doubts: Find your Purpose Passion & Power) and has headed up training, employee involvement, team-building, lean manufacturing, and leadership training for a major aerospace corporation. She understands the entire flow of student to work-force, and what personal assets are most valuable to individuals, schools, colleges, entrepreneurs, and companies. Her unique perspective, extensive research, and diverse expanse of experience affirm Lawhon as a highly qualified educator, being one of a handful of strengths-based assessors utilizing corporate experience and scientific neurological research within the field of education.
