Methods, Measures, & Results
1. Problem: I had over 1000 students, they were disengaged, and had all but quit trying to complete their online ELA curriculum. Even the ones who came to my Zooms weren't even attempting the Edmentum tutorials.
2. Solution: Develop an animated series where the narrative takes on a life of its own--metaphorical, relevant, with multiple EBP's woven in.
3. Results: Based initially on student feedback, then on engagement and test data from Edmentum, I monitored data carefully as hundreds of students began to watch the series. All students who watched improved scores by over double, completed the required curriculum, in less time, and earned an A in Edmentum coursework.
4. Takeaway: Proof that my animated narratives cause measurable learning success.
